Assistive Technology Center
TSHA is pleased to partner with Oklahoma ABLE Tech and with the Department of Rehabilitation Services' Equipment Distribution Program in order to better serve Deaf and hard of hearing individuals in northeastern Oklahoma.
We have a beautiful Assistive Technology Center filled with all types of assistive devices: amplified phones, text phones, alert systems, personal amplification systems, clocks made especially for individuals with hearing loss, and many more devices.
The loan program allows Oklahoma residents with hearing loss, their family members, and the professionals who support them to borrow and try assistive devices before purchasing.
- Borrowing equipment from the Assistive Technology Center is easy. Devices may be borrowed by a person with a disability, family members, advocates, businesses, or service providers (e.g. therapist, teacher, rehabilitation counselor).
- Loans may last up to six weeks.
- 42-day Rental Rates:
$50.00- $50.00 refunded to TSHA members upon return of equipment in working order and with all accessories.
- $40.00 refunded to non-members upon return of equipment in working order and with all accessories.
