**WEATHER POLICY**
If Tulsa Public, Broken Arrow, or Jenks schools are closed due to weather,
sign class (for that school district) will be cancelled.
We have an exciting slate of non-credit sign language classes to offer you this Spring – more than ever!
To receive full enrollment information, contact Kirsten Wilson with your name, email and mailing address – we’ll be happy to add you to our sign class mailing list. Most courses are for ages 13 – adult.

Sign 1 – Tulsa - Classes held at the American Red Cross
This 10-week course meets Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., February 6 – April 16. Learn HUNDREDS of signs in this fun class, which will help you communicate with deaf people of all ages!

American Red Cross is located directly behind Southern Nazarene
University, west of Highway 169 on 11th Street.
Sign 2 – Tulsa - Classes held at TSHA.
This 10-week continuation of Sign 1 meets Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., February 21 – May 1.

Textbooks will be given out the first night of class.
Textbook is "Signing: How to Speak With Your Hands". Books are available at TSHA or at the first class. *Sign 2 will be using the same book as Sign 1.

Refund Policy: Tuition refunds will only be given before the second class session of our 10-week classes and before class starts for shorter courses. Book refunds will only be given upon return of unused books before the first class.

These classes are offered in cooperation with the respective
Community Education Programs and registration MUST go through them. Please do not
send money for these classes to TSHA.

Broken Arrow Courses
These 8 week classes teach basic American Sign Language to start you on
your adventure to a new way of communicating.
Broken Arrow Intro to Sign 1 will be held at the
North Intermediate High School (808 E. College) in Broken Arrow. This is an 8 week
class meeting on Thursdays, 6:030 to 8:00 pm. (March 1- April 26)
Class Cost: $70 * Book Cost: $20 * TOTAL COST: $90
Course Description:
Sign 1 - A beginning level non-credit class for
ages 13 and up, but children ages 11 -12 may attend with a parent. Students will learn approximately 400 signs, and some of the
features of American Sign Language grammar. Games, practice activities,
silent dinners, Deaf speakers, and Deaf culture are just some of the things
included in this class. This is a FUN course!
Textbooks will be given out the first night of class. Textbook is "Signing: How to Speak With Your Hands".

Jenks Courses
"Everyday Sign Language" is a fun course for ages 13 – adult. It will cover 100 signs about people, food, feelings, and the home, as well as fingerspelling.
This 6 week class will be held at Jenks High School (205 E. B St.), Central Campus Sooner Bldg. Room 187. Classes will meet on Tuesdays, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
(March 27 - May 1)
Class Cost: $60 * Book Cost: $20 * TOTAL COST: $80
